What’s at Stake
Engineering for Change (E4C) is an online community platform representing an international technical workforce. Under the umbrella of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, E4C has more than 80,000 members. A lot is riding on our client clearly communicating their value proposition to the mission-driven organizations funding its constituency’s Impact Projects.
Brands, like people, require ongoing dialogue to improve and grow.

Repositioning for User Engagement strategy centers around the needs of members of this diverse organization: a global community of engineers contributing to short-term, highly effective ventures in sustainable development.
Through a persistent, goal-oriented dialogue with our client, we implemented digital marketing strategies for growing E4C’s online presence.
Enhanced Functionality for the E4C website delivers the necessary tools to implement several revenue-generating strategies. Improved features also address our client’s concerns about maintaining a familiar user experience and easily accessing information about current research and resources.

Digital Marketing campaigns target funding prospects for sustainable development.
- Construct multi-process campaign initiatives for prospective partners.
- Identify pivotal markets for sustainable projects.
- Create touchpoints for productive discussion within the community.
- Map Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and goals for each campaign milestone.
We also created opportunities for E4C members to share online stories about Impact Projects, further strengthening the community and showcasing the program’s value.

Team Cohesion strategies focused on addressing the complex concerns of both internal project stakeholders and external constituents. The E4C project involved offshore partners and consultants, in addition to the diverse, multidisciplinary U.S. based core team.
Rebranding initiatives were successful precisely because prominent team members rose to the occasion and were effective in communicating shared goals.
